Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a good quality printing at a low cost, by a method wherein an electrostatic pattern is formed by applying an electrostatic charge on the surface of an image pattern, insulating toner is stuck thereto to obtain a toner image, which is transferred onto a recording sheet, and fixed. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a printing original plate 1 is electrified uniformly with a corotron 5. Since the base body 2 is grounded through a drum 4, the charge remains only on the surface of the insulating image pattern 3 to form an image of electrostatic charge. When the electrostatic image reaches a developing part, an electrostatic image is developed with a magnetic toner 65 held on a non-magnetic sleeve 62. The toner image is transferred as a normal image on a transfer paper 10 by impressing an electric field with a corotron 7 from rear of the transfer paper 10, then it is fixed with a fixing device. Toner which has still remained after the transfer process on the printing original plate 1 is removed with a cleaning device 8. By repeating the above process, a number of printings may be obtained based on the single printing original plate 1.
