Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To reduce a decelerating shock by controlling an idling engine speed and supplying dash pot air during deceleration by intake air quantity adjusting means by-passing a throttle valve and varying a preset value during valve closing control of the adjusting means according to load. CONSTITUTION:Intake air quantity adjusting means A is disposed in a by-path by-passing a throttle valve in an intake passage. During idling state, the intake air quantity adjusting means is adapted to control using a deviation between the actual engine speed detected by the engine speed detecting means B and the target engine speed set by target engine speed setting means C as a parameter for controlling idling engine speed. When the decelerating operation is detected by detecting means D, the above adjusting means A is controlled to supply designated dash pot air, and when the engine speed is lowered less than a preset value, the adjusting means A is controlled in the valve opening direction in order to gradually decrease the dash pot air. In this case, the preset value can be varied according to load detected by load detecting means E by varying means F. |
