FOUNDATION

PURPOSE: To provide a ground sill capable of supporting an outer wall panel stably and rigidly by projecting an engaging piece from the upper center surface of a base plate put on the top of a continuous footing and providing a fixing piece in contact fixedly with a column side face at the end part of the engaging piece. CONSTITUTION: This ground sill 3 of reverse T-shape formed by projecting an engaging piece 32 from the center upper surface of flat plate-shaped base plate 31 is put on the top of a continuous footing 1. A fixing piece 33 provided at the end part of the engaging piece 32 of the ground sill 3 is fixed to the side face of a column 2. Then the lower end of an outer wall panel is locked to the engaging piece 32 so as to install the outer wall panel. Thus the ground sill 3 supports the vertical load of the outer wall panel on the continuous footing 1 through the engaging piece 32 and the base plate 31, and also supports the horizontal load of it on the column 2 through the fixing piece 33. Thus the outer wall panel can be supported stably and rigidly.
