DRIVING WORK OF STEEL TUBULAR PILE UNDER WATER

PURPOSE:To permit a steel tubular pile to be driven into the bottom ground under water safely and exactly by a method in which a steel tube piece of almost water depth length is rigid-jointed with the upper end of a steel tubular pile through a chuck mechanism 6. CONSTITUTION:A steel tubular pile 2 is driven into the bottom ground under water by a pile driver 1, and a steel tube piece 3 of a length which is nearly equal to the depth of water is rigid-jointed with the upper end of pile 2 through a chuck mechanism 6. After the pile 2 is driven to the vicinity of the bottom ground under water, the piece 3 is raised. The pile 2 can thus be safely and exactly driven into the bottom ground under water.
