Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To reduce a shift in an optical axis and to stabilize the optical axis by a method wherein a fiber stand to which a tipspherical fiber has been fixed is contained, a reference plane perpendicular to the optical axis of a light-emitting device is installed at a base and the fiber stand is fixed to the reference plate of the base. CONSTITUTION:While a tip-spherical fiber 9 is approached to a light-emitting device 3, its position is adjusted precisely in three axial directions; a distance between the tip-spherical fiber 9 and the light-emitting device 3 is adjusted optimally; after that, a fiber stand 27 is pressed to a reference plane 6 of a base 5; while the stand is being moved along this reference plane 6, it is adjusted upward and downward in such a way that a gap between the tip-spherical fiber 9 and the fiber stand 27 becomes zero. Then, while the fiber stand 27 is being pressed slightly to the base 5, two upward- downward and forward-backward axes are aligned extremely precisely in order to look for a position where incident efficiency to the optical fiber 9 becomes a maximum value. After that, the tip-spherical fiber 9 is approached to the light-emitting device 3 in order to adjust two left-right and forward-backward axes extremely precisely. By this setup, a shift in an optical axis of the tip-spherical fiber 9 is reduced; a stable coupling characteristic is obtained for a long time. |
