STRUCTURE OF SUPPORTING INTERIOR TRIM BOARD OF ROLLING STOCK

PURPOSE:To facilitate the supporting and installation/removal of an interior trim board to a vehicle body by fixing the inner trim board to the groove of a retaining face with a fixing tool, and fixing the retaining face to a structure-body skelton by means of a retaining fixture while fixing the structure-body skelton to the vehicle body. CONSTITUTION:At the time of supporting an interior trim board 1 on the side wall of ceiling, etc., in the passenger room of rolling stock, first, a retaining face 2 is installed on the end of a structure-body skelton 7 by means of a retaining fixture 9. At this time, the base end of the structure-body skelton 7 is kept installed on the side wall or the ceiling, etc., in the passenger compartment. Then, the end portion of the inner trim board 1 is brought into contact with the groove 4 of the retaining face 2. Continuously, the wedge 12 of a fixing tool 11 is inserted into the groove 4 in the condition of retaining the end portion of the interior trim board 1. After that, the projecting portion 13 of the fixing tool 11 is inserted into the fitting groove 10 of the retaining face 2. Hence, the interior trim board 1 is supported on the side wall or the ceiling, etc., in the passenger compartment via the structure-body skelton. Thereby, the installation/removal of the interior trim board 1 can be easily carried out without need for using screws.
