Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To increase the mounting flexibility of a battery pack to an appliance by installing an assembly part in which the face of a terminal metal fitting in a cover locates from the center of the cover to its end in the cover. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of batteries A are accommodated in a battery compartment 11 of a cylindrical case 1 in parallel. The opening of the case 1 is covered with a cover 2 made of an insulating material. A terminal metal fitting 3 is assembled to an assembly part 22 of the cover 2 so as to locate from the center of the cover 2 to its end, then the cover 2 and the case 1 are welded by ultrasonic welding. Since the face of the terminal metal fitting 3 locates from the center of the cover 2 to its end, the mounting flexibility of a battery pack to an appliance is increased.
