MANUFACTURE OF DASH PANEL

PURPOSE:To obtain a dash panel exhibiting a satisfactory vibration suppressing function over a wide temperature range by individually forming at least two vibration damping laminated metal plates having different temperature dependent vibration damping characteristics, in a dash panel-like shape by a press working process, and by superposing these plates with each other. CONSTITUTION:At least two vibration damping laminated metal plates 4A, 4B in which viscoelastic resin layers 7A, 7B having different peak temperature for vibroenergy loss coefficients are disposed between steel plates 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B, are individually formed by a press working process, having different temperature dependent vibration damping characteristics. Then, the two plates are superposed with each other to form a dash panel exhibiting a satisfactory vibration suppressing function over a wide temperature range.
