INTER-PROGRAM MODULE TRANSITION CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To standardize a transition control program in common by forming a control block for holding transition defining information consisting of a pair of an event code and information block specifying information every required even code correspondingly to each program module. CONSTITUTION:Pointer event areas to corresponding program modules 2a-2e and pointer columns to control blocks 2a-2e corresponding to respective required event codes are formed in respective control blocks 3a-3e. The executed program modules 2a-2e set up the event codes determined as the result of execution in the event areas of the corresponding control blocks 3a-3e and returns control to a common control part 5. The common control part 5 obtains a pointer to the control block corresponding to the set event code from the control block concerned and transfers control to the program module pointed out by the control block.
