XY PLOTTER

PURPOSE: To eliminate waste of recording paper by comprising an XY plot data preparing means, a plot minimum and maximum position variable selecting means, a print address determining means, and a recording unit for reading the XY plot data from a memory and printing the same. CONSTITUTION: An XY plot data preparing means 36 calculates the data corresponding to a start point and an end point on an XY coordinate of each page of the recording paper to be plotted on the basis of the input data taken in an input control part 14 to prepare the XY plot data and to store the same in a memory 28. A plot minimum, maximum position variables selecting means 38 compares the plot minimum position variable or plot maximum position variable every start point and every end point to determine the new minimum, maximum position variables. A print address determining means 40 calculates the print start address and the print end address on the basis of the selected plot minimum and maximum position variables. A recording device 22 reads out the XY plot data from the start address to the end address from the memory 28 to print the same.
