CONSTITUTION:A display part 28 has a liquid crystal display for displaying waveform data, etc., and a display part of about 40 charactersX4 lines as part of its screen is utilized to display a film name setting screen where general symbols such as English characters A-Z and numbers and a file name display position, etc. Then when the file name is set, keys 34 of cursor movement switches at a key operation part 26 are operated to select a general symbol at the cursor position, and the symbol is determined by operating the keys 36 of select switches to set the file name. The file name which is thus set is stored in a storage device 32.
