PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an ecological coating material for agriculture especially suitable for the use as mulching film, capable of being used in various agricultural houses, easy in disposal after using and enabling the extreme reduction of harmful effect to the environment such as a farm land. SOLUTION: This ecological coating material for agriculture is prepared as follows: a base material is prepared using an easily disposable film comprising a plastic material which is easily disposable under natural environment; a metal oxide thin film or a metal sulfide thin film singly or by lamination on the surface of on the base material followed by shape forming to obtain an easily disposable thin formed film; a paper made of a material such as wood pulp, waste paper or non-woody pulp such as kenaf which is easily disposable under natural environment is stuck on said easily disposable thin formed film by using an adhesive or a tacky agent which is easily disposable under natural environment.
