Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To check an article with a specified person by utilizing other time than the office hours, and to receive the article from the specified person. CONSTITUTION:A control part calculates automatically a vacant locker 14 by an input of a password, in a check mode, and also, stores a number of the vacant locker 14 in which an article is checked, the password and a finished state of a desired article, and also, outputs a display signal of the password at the time of opening the locker 14. Moreover, the control part stores a number of a new vacant locker 14 in which the article is checked, the password and a demand charge, in a receiving mode, and in the case the demand charge is thrown in, the new locker 14 in which the article corresponding to the password is deposited is calculated automatically, based on the password. In such a way, the article can be checked with a specified person through an automatic intermediating machine 10, and also, the article can be received from the specified person, therefore, the article can be allowed to intermediate for 24 hours.
