PURPOSE:To remove ferro-powder included in an oil in a differential device satisfactorily without enlarging the weight of a car and without increasing the cost. CONSTITUTION:An automatic transmission includes a torque converter housing 31 and a transmission case 11, and at its bottom a reserver plate 35 is furnished for preventing the oil on the valve body 34 side from outflowing to the differential device 300 side, and this reserver plate 35 is equipped with an oil level adjust window 39, which puts the valve body 34 side in communication with the differential device 300 side, and a magnet accommodation part 40. When a ring gear 13 rotates, oil flow is generated in the differential device 300, but part of the flow is branched because the window 39 opens in the counter- direction to the flow and is passed toward the valve body 34 side through the window 39. Therein the ferro-powder inclided in the oil is taken in together with the oil and collected by a magnet 42 in the accommodation part 40.
