PURPOSE:To properly select one frame or plural frames and to reproduce and display it by relating the picture signals by one frame and plural frames to inherent information, etc., converting them into picture information, synthesizing both signals and displaying them together. CONSTITUTION:The information on photographed pictures from a first frame to a eighth frame is stored in first information memory 14, digital picture signals by eight frames are outputted from picture memory 8, and converted into the picture signal by a conversion processing part 10. On the other hand, a digital signal to be stored contents is outputted from the information memory 14, converted into an analog signal by a DA converting part 17, and the picture signal by a signal processing part 18. The picture signals from the conversion processing part 10 and the signal processing part 18 are synthesized by an adding part 11, and converted into a video signal to be outputted, so that the photographed pictures from the first frame to the eighth frame, displayed by an index and recorded information on these photographed pictures are displayed together on a display device. Thus, the photographed pictures by plural frames or that by one frame can be selected, reproduced, and displayed.
