Zusammenfassung:Aqueous solutions or dispersions which have a pH of from 6.0 to 8.5, of oligourethanes containing (meth)acryloyl groups and having a double bond content in the form of (meth)acryloyl groups, calculated as =C=C= of from 3 to 15 % by weight, and having a content of carboxyl groups, at least some of which have been neutralised by means of ammonia, which corresponds to an acid number of the oligourethanes of from 20 to 100, a process for the preparation of these solutions or dispersions from alcohols containing (meth)acryloyl groups, 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)alkanecarboxylic acids and organic polyisocyanates in a one-pot reaction, and subsequently dissolving or dispersing the reaction product in water with the addition of ammonium in order to at least partially neutralise the carboxyl groups present, and the use of the aqueous solutions or dispersions as or for the preparation of aqueous coating compositions which can be cured by means of free radicals.
