CONSTITUTION:Picture data read by a CCD 81 are stored in a memory 85 and a white.black/color discrimination circuit 86 discriminates the data. When the white.black/color discrimination circuit 86 discriminates an original of a double side copy to be a color copy, the picture data are stored in the storage means. When the white.black/color discrimination circuit 86 discriminates data on the rear side of the original to be a white.black original, the white.black original is copied on the front side and the pattern on the storage device is copied on the rear side.
