Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a new compound useful as an antiviral agent and a carcinostatic agent, having strongly antiviral action, being metabolized with carbooxetanosine, having excellent oral absorption properties and water solubility. CONSTITUTION:A compound shown by formula I (B is nucleic acid base derivative; R and R are H, dialkylaminoacyl, 1,4-dihydro-1-methylnicotinoyl or substituted phosphate with the proviso that one of R and R is group except H) such as 9-[(1R,2R,3S)-3-(ethoxyhydroxyphosphoryl)oxymethyl-2- hydroxymethyl-1-cyclobutyl]guanine. The compound shown by formula I is reacted with a compound shown by formula II (R and R are H or protecting group; B is nucleic acid base derivative or protected nucleic acid base derivative) with a carboxylic acid or phosphoric acid shown by the formula R-OH (R is dialkylaminoacyl, 1,4-dihydro-1-methylnicotinoyl or substituted phosphate) or a reactive derivative thereof.
