Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain such vane shape as to correspond in a wide operating range without lowering its performance by forming the front edge part of a vane into elliptical shape with its major axis direction to be the flow direction, and providing this front edge part in such a way as to be in contact with the pressure face and negative pressure face of the vane. CONSTITUTION:A vane 1 is formed of a negative pressure face 2, a pressure face 3 and a front edge part 6. The front edge part 6 is formed into elliptical shape with its major axis direction to be the flow direction, and provided in such a way as to be in contact with the negative pressure face 2 and the pressure face 3. As a result, breakaway generated from the front edge part of the vane 1 is controlled by the pressure distribution on the vane face. With this constitution, the pressure distribution of the vane front edge part 6 can be adjusted, and thereby the flow breaking away once at the front edge part 6 can be attached again. Large loss caused by the existing breakaway can be therefore reduced in large degree.
