Zusammenfassung:	Flame-retardant and heat-resistant plastics are obtained by curing a curable resin which, at least partially, comprises a mixture of (a) a resin component which contains or comprises at least one thermocurable compound containing 1-oxa-3-azatetraline groups; and (b) a second component which contains or comprises at least one flameproofing agent which is immiscible with the resin component, in particular one or more of the following substance groups or substances: aluminium hydroxide; hydrated calcium/magnesium carbonate; magnesium hydroxide; elemental red phosphorus; oxo-acids of phosphorus; inorganic salts of oxo-acids of phosphorus; organic salts of oxo-acids of phosphorus; polyphosphates; boric acid; salts of boric acid, preferably zinc borate; and expediently contains, in addition, at least one curable epoxide compound.
