SOLUTION: A metal rod is so constituted that wood 1 as a core is closely inserted into a metal cylinder 2. The metal rod is constituted by inserting into the metal cylinder 2 the wood 1 which is thicker than the inside diameter of the metal cylinder in an uncompressed state by compressing thinner than the inside diameter of the metal cylinder 2. The wood 1 inserted into the metal cylinder 2 is heated or made to suck water to be expanded. Force-fit of the expanded wood 1 is closely made to the inside of the metal cylinder 2 in a pushing state.
