CONSTITUTION:This device A1 is constituted by providing the document creation device, which has plural phrase modes and performs KANA-KANJI conversion by referring to a user dictionary 2 wherein words are registered and a maker dictionary 3 containing words registered in an unrewritable state and the phrase modes previously specified, word by word, with a freely rewritable extraction dictionary table 7 where priority is added to the words registered in the maker dictionary 3 and stored; when the KANA-KANJI conversion is performed, the words are read out of the maker dictionary 3 according to the priority stored in the extraction dictionary table 7. Consequently, the KANA-KANJI conversion can be processed at a high speed.
