Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain the non-magnetic one component developer which has sufficient electrostatic charging ability, flowability, and safety to the environments, has a high image density, a less fog, and a high level image quality by using inorganic fine powders having a grinding effect at the larger particle size and modified with a hydrophobic treatment by using silicone oil. CONSTITUTION:A developing blade which controls the layer thickness of the developer is arranged to be in press-contact with a developing roller and the developer is applied uniformly on the surface of the development roller while bringing the developing roller directly into contact with an electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive body, or facing each other without contacting.
