Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent increase of effective occupation area of a device even when external parts are connected to it, in an image forming device for reducing installation area of the device. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device for forming images on a sheet has a notch 54 arranged on the outer peripheral face of the device and a cable connector 19 arranged on the bottom of the notch 54. A cable is inserted into the notch 54 from the upper part of the device, and a sheet guide 30 to be connected to the cable connector 19 or to be housed in a stacker 14 is provided.
