Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve performance of removing an unburnt component at the time of starting an engine. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle provided with a spark plug in the upstream of a catalyst, the vehicle has a hydrogen tank 1 of storing hydrogen gas in a pressure condition prepared for next time engine starting while an engine is in operation, hydrogen generator 8 for generating hydrogen gas by water electrolysis to the hydrogen tank 1, water tank 2 for storing water for the water electrolysis and a gas-water separating tank 3 for releasing pressure hydrogen gas from the hydrogen tank 1 to the upstream of the catalyst. From just after starting the engine, the hydrogen gas can be fed to the spark plug, and quickly heating the catalyst and combustion removal of an unburnt component can be performed.
