Zusammenfassung: | The process is based on mixing a melt with a colder liquid phase at a temperature below the catalysation point and emulsifying it therein, the melt solidifying in the form of the dispersed particles only after the emulsification. For this purpose, the melt is injected into the liquid phase to form a pre-emulsion (12) and the pre-emulsion is fine-dispersed within a residence time of 0.005 s to 0.15 s in a downstream homogenising nozzle (8) to form an emulsion (15) which then solidifies to give the finished crystal suspension. The particle size can be adjusted precisely and reproducibly by the nozzle upstream pressure during the emulsification. The process can be used especially for producing highly concentrated dispersions of high-melting organic substances. |
