Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To make the vector quantization of an LPC parameter by determining the spectral distance weighted according to the intensity of the spectral envelope of an input signal as the spectral distance between the LPC parameter of the input signal and the standard pattern, selecting the standard pattern to minimize this spectral distance and quantizing and outputting the standard pattern. CONSTITUTION:The sample system of standardized voice signals are inputted from an input terminal 1 and a linear prediction analysis is executed with respect to the sample value of the voice signals included within a specific analysis window length at every specific frame period to determine p-pieces of prediction coeffts. in an LPC analysis section 2. In a cepstrum coefft. calculating section 3, gamma-pieces of cepstrum coeffts. are determined from the predicted coeffts.
