CONSTITUTION:When an auxiliary line specifying device 7 is instructed by an operator what kind of the auxiliary lines should be displayed and where the auxiliary line should be displayed, the auxiliary lines, for example, the auxiliary lines 31 - 33 are displayed on the display device 5 by an auxiliary line generating device 6 based on the instruction. The color and the thickness of the auxiliary line can be changed and also it can be displayed as a section. And then, when it is instructed by a layout instruction inputting device 2 that the picture of goods may be arranged on a line 32, the layout is performed by a layout working device 3 based on the instruction. And the auxiliary line which is displayed once is stored in an auxiliary line storing device 9, and then, it is applied to another layout working.
