Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To recover the power consumed in pumping up water to high ground and to suppress an increase in operation cost by supplying the circulation water of the water storage tank arranged at the height near to that of the nuclear reactor on the high ground to the water wheel arranged to a drain channel in the vicinity of the sea level. CONSTITUTION:The circulation water pumped up from the surface of the sea by a circulation water pump 1 through the piping 2 of a circulation water system is introduced into a condenser 4. The piping 2 is the inlet and outlet pipings of the condenser 4 and becomes the siphon pipeline forming the highest part of a pipeline to subject circulation water to siphon operation. After the heat exchange due to the condenser 4, the circulation water is pooled in a water storage tank 9 for a water wheel and the height difference between the surface of the circulation water and the water wheel 10 arranged in the vicinity of the sea level is used to perform water-power generation. When there is a marsh or a reservoir in the periphery, the water thereof is guided to the water storage tank 9 to be usable in water-power generation. By this method, the power consumed in pumping up the circulation water to high ground by the pump 1 can be recovered and an increase in the operation cost of an atomic power plant due to the location on the high ground separated from the sea can be suppressed.
