Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a drum type clothes drier which enables the drying of delicate clothes without impairing the texture thereof. CONSTITUTION:A heater 11 is divided into two and arranged both at high and low positions (11a and 11b) in a duct 10 to be controlled independently. When the temperature detected with a thermistor 13 exceeds a fixed value, one of the heaters 11a and 11b is turned OFF. In a standard drying course, a drum 1 is rotated forward continuously or the normal and reverse rotations are repeated alternately. At this point, the heater 11 for drying gets a full input. In a delicate drying course, the drum 1 is rotated reversely for 10sec. and then stopped. This operation is repeated. At the same time, the heater 11 for drying gets the full input. When the drum 1 is stopped, the heat 11b at the high position is turned OFF.
