A filter cartridge packed with a filter medium for purifying bathwater is provided to the device so that the cartrdige is pulled upward and replaced. Further, a space to pull out the cartridge is furnished at the upper part of the housing, and a shelf 26 is freely detachably provided and also used as a lid for covering the upper face of the device.
