Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain the subject transmission membrane exhibiting selective ion-transmittance by light irradiation, having expanded active wavelength range and useful in an optical information processing industry by supporting a plurality of substance groups having different sensitive wavelength ranges on a lipid membrane. CONSTITUTION:The objective transmission membrane contains (A) two or more kinds of substance groups having different sensitive wavelength ranges and (B) an ionophore in a lipid membrane. Preferably, the component A is a photoreceptive protein or its derivative, especially bacteriorhodopsin or halorhodopsin and the component B is oligopeptide, etc. Furthermore, the component is preferably held in the lipid membrane in an oriented state to uniformize the ion transmission direction.
