Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the subject composition maintaining the good boiling resistance and corrosion resistance of a vinyl ester resin and having good adhesivity and flexibility added thereto by compounding a specific modified vinyl ester with an ethylenic unsaturated group-containing reactive diluent. CONSTITUTION:(A) A free hydroxvl group-containing vinyl ester prepared from an epoxy compound and an unsaturated basic acid is made to react with (B) 2,5(6)-diisocyanatomethyl bicyclo[2,2,1]heptane in an amount of 0.7-1.1 mole per mole of the hydroxyl group of the vinyl ester A to prepare an urethane- modified vinyl ester resin. The resin is further reacted with (C) a hydroxyl group-containing ethylenic unsaturated monomer and/or a hydroxyl group- containing allyl compound. The hydroxyl group-containing vinyl ester thus prepared is compounded with an ethylenic unsaturated group-containing reactive diluent to provide the objective composition.
