Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To reduce weight of a plenum chamber by simplifying manufacturing work of the plenum chamber, and preventing stoppage of an engine. CONSTITUTION:An air intake manifold 1 is provided with a plenum chamber 2 having an intake air inlet 3 and plural intake air outlets 4 and plural branched pipes 5 connected to the respective intake air outlets 4 of the plenum chamber 2. Plural exhaust gas supply ports are formed in a peripheral wall of the plenum chamber 2 by machine work. A projection 16 is integrally formed on an outside surface of the plenum chamber 2. A penetrating exhaust gas passage 17 to flow exhaust gas to be reduced from an exhaust manifold is formed in the projection 16 by machine work. An exhaust gas passage 17 is branched off into the same number with the exhaust gas supply ports in the middle of it, and is provided with a single exhaust gas inlet and plural exhaust gas outlets. One ends of aluminum extrusion section-made exhaust gas distributing pipings 22 and 23 in the same number with the exhaust gas supply ports are joined to the exhaust gas outlets of the exhaust gas passage 17, and the other ends are joined to the exhaust gas supply ports of the plenum chamber 2, respectively. |
