PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for non-aqueous solvent secondary battery capable of avoiding curing of slurry containing fluoro-vinylidene type fluoro- rubber as a bonding agent under the existence of alkaline components. SOLUTION: This electrode for non-aqueous solvent secondary battery consists of a process for preparing a compound oxide with at least one metal and lithium to be selected from among cobalt, nickel, and manganese as an active substance, preparing a slurry containing a fluoro-vinylidene type fluoro-rubber and an organic solvent as a binder, and process for applying the above slurry to an electric collector or filling. In this case, the above slurry is prepared by agitating it while an electrode material containing the above bonding agent and above organic solvent is maintained to below 20 deg.C.
