PURPOSE:To avoid waste of energy and water by keeping bath water to be at an appropriate bath temperature within a preset bathing hour and keeping it to be at a hygienic lower temperature than the bath water during non-preset bathing hour, and by forcibly changing-over to the controlling condition during non-preset bathing hour when an absence-from-home switch is kept on. CONSTITUTION:A purifying and temperature-retaining device of bath water is provided with a device body, a remote controller, and a circulation device of bath water comprising a bath water inlet, a plurality of purifiers, a circulation device 7, a heater 9 and a bath water outlet. The bath water is controlled to always keep it at an appropriate temperature with a means 37 by the purifier, the circulation device 7, and a heater 9 operating within a bathing hour preset by a device 24 in a controller 35. On the other hand, the bath water is controlled by a means 38 to be at a relatively lower temperature for a hygienic bath water with the above respective devices 7, 9 during moon-preset bathing hour. When an absence-from-home switch 29 is kept on, the condition is forcibly changed over by a means 36 to the controlling by the above means 38 regardless of the preset time by the above device 24.
