Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To perform the binding operation of the sheets received in a plurality of sheet receiving means by one binding means by providing a means binding exposed manuscripts at a position other than the arranging place of the receiving means. CONSTITUTION:Transfer sheet 37 is copied in an image forming part 6 to be fed to a finisher 11 and the processing of the transfer paper 37 and manuscripts 69 is carried out by a bin movable type sorter-stapler. The stapler 65 is supported by a pair of lead screws 423 so as to freely approach and separate with respect to the side surfaces of sheet receiving bins 57. The lead screw 423 is rotationally driven by a stapler moving motor 427 through a gear group 425 and the stapler 65 is subjected to approach and separating operation (arrow M33 direction) by this rotation. At the time of non-stapling, the stapler 65 is retracted from a stapling notch by the driving of the stapler moving motor 427 and, at the time of stapling, the stapler 65 advances into the stapling notch.
