PURPOSE:To repeat a signal at an arbitrary transmission speed and to eliminate the signal loss due to frame slip by subordinately synchronizing a non-telephone terminal on the reception side with that on the transmission side. CONSTITUTION:On the side of a receiver 8, a frame timing is detected by a frame signal detecting circuit 18. The information volume to be repeated is separated from a control field 6 based on this timing, and information bits 4 to be repeated are written in a buffer memory 17 based on the information volume to be repeated. A control part 19 calculates the signal frequency of the non-telephone terminal on the transmission side in accordance with the information volume to be repeated received with each frame as the unit and reproduces its clock. An information signal 23b is read out from the memory 17 by this reproduced clock signal 26, and an analog signal 22b for the non- telephone terminal is reproduced by a modulating circuit 20. Consequently, slip does not occur and the signal loss is eliminated because inputted information is outputted from the memory 17 as it is.
