Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enable the thermal decomposition of dioxin at a low cost by introducing ash discharged from a refuse incinerator into an ash reserving hopper under the condition making no contact with air and inserting an electric heater into the ash reserving hopper for heating. CONSTITUTION:Main ash is introduced from a refuse incinerator 1 into an ash reserving hopper 10 under the condition of making no contact with air without being cooled. Also, flying ash recovered by a dust collector 3 is introduced into the ash reserving hopper 10 under the condition of making no contact with air. Next, heat retained by main ash is utilized so that the ash reserved in the ash reserving hopper 10 is heated to a required temperature for a required time by an electric heater 11 and conductive exothermic body 12 inserted into the ash reserving hopper 10 under the low oxygen atmosphere and dioxin is thermally decomposed to be made innoxious. Then, the heating time is adjusted according to a time taken for opening and closing a double-flap dumper 13. The ash made innoxious is shipped through the dumper 13 by a conveyer 14, so that high thermal efficiency heating and the thermal decomposition of dioxin are permitting at a low cost.
