Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To control a converter to hold its output voltage at an optimum value by correcting an input voltage command of the converter by a quantity of state of a load. CONSTITUTION:The AC power of an AC power source 10 is converted by a converter 30 into DC power, and the DC power is converted by an inverter 50 into AC power output to be supplied to an AC motor 60. The inverter 50 is controlled through a PWM control circuit by a magnetic flux command PHIS and an inverter angular frequency command omega1S given from potentiometers 90, 91 respectively. In accordance with the effective component current Iq detected by an effective component current detector 70, a converter output voltage command EDR is corrected. The corrected value is compared with the converter voltage in a subtractor 110 through a converter output voltage command generator 100. The output of the subtractor 110 is inputted to an operational amplifier 130, whose output controls the converter 30 to hold its output voltage in the optimum value.
