PURPOSE:To provide the data input system for enabling speedy processing and reducing the wrong inputs of required input items by inputting only the data of variable input items for an operator. CONSTITUTION:A registration control part 11 selects semifixed input items as items to input common semifixed input data correpsonding to any specified transaction picture to be repeatedly generated and registers a register picture inputting respective semifixed input data correpsonding to respective semifixed input items onto a flexible disk 5. When calling the transaction picture and performing the data input, a picture display control part 12 reads the correspondent register picture registered by the registration control part 11 from the flexible disk 5 and displays that register picture in place of the transaction picture. An input control part 13 controls the operation of a cursor so as to successively move the cursor through the variable input items on that register picture in order to input the variable input items on that displayed register picture.
