Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To standardize a read characteristic in excellent way, by comparing the data of a read reference chart with the data of a reference chart stored in advance and feeding back the difference to a reading means as a correction value. CONSTITUTION:A storage means 203 stores the data of a reference chart read by a reading means 201. A storage means 204 stores in advance the data of a reference chart. A comparicon means 206 compares the data of the storage means 204, 203 and the output is given to a read correction means 207 and an output correction means 208. The correction means 207, based on said comparison output, corrects the conversion in the reading means 201. The difference between the data of the reference chart read and the data of the reference chart stored in advance is fed back to the reading means 201 as a correction value in this way to standardize the reading characteristic in an excellent way.
