PURPOSE:To prevent a recipient from watching an abnormal pattern for a long time by applying retransmission before the transmission of a high frequency component or the while the high frequency component is being sent even if there is any transmission error in the transmission of a low frequency component. CONSTITUTION:In the case of the transmission of a part of data in a block, an address of a packet whose error is detected at the reception side is returned to the sender and after a packet having an error again is sent, part of all of the remaining data in the block is sent. Thus, the recipient can watch a coarse picture without any error using only part of the data in the block without waiting the end of transmission of the remaining data in the block.
