Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain antidecay and termite-proofing agent for wood, the permeability of which is remarkably excellent, by a composition wherein dimethyl ether, metallic soap and hydrocarbon and/or aromatic hydrocarbon, the range of boiling point of which is specified, are compounded. CONSTITUTION:The antidecay and termite-proofing agent of wood concerned consists of dimethyl ether, metallic soap and hydrocarbon and/or aromatic hydrocarbon, the boiling point of which is within the range or 150-350 deg.C. In the metallic soap, metal octanoate, metal versatate, metal naphthenate and the like are included. In the metal, copper, lead, zinc, cobalt and the like are included. In the hydrocarbon and/or aromatic hydrocarbon, mixed C9 aromatics, terpenes, heavy solvent naphtha, mixed high boiling point aromatics, polyethylene benzene, paraffin, kerosene, gas oil, Suwasol 1800 and the like are included.
