PURPOSE: To obtain a dry silver-contg. color photosensitive compsn. by incorporating photosensitive silver halide reactively related to the silver salt of an org. acid and a color forming reducing agent which is a leuco compd. oxidizable to a specified coloring dye with silver ions into a medium. CONSTITUTION: Photosensitive silver halide reactively combined with the silver salt of an org. acid and a color forming reducing agent which is a leuco compd. oxidizable to a coloring dye represented by formula I with silver ions are incorporated into a medium to obtain a dry silver-contg. photosensitive compsn. capable of forming a color image. In the formula I, (n) is 0-2, R is H, CN, 1-5C lower alkyl, aryl or COOR (R is lower alkyl or aryl), each of R and R is CN, COOR , etc., R and R may be atoms required to form a carbon ring or a hetero ring, each of R and R is H, CN or lower alkyl, R and R may be atoms required to complete a carbon ring and Ar is thienyl, furyl, halogen, hydroxy, lower alkyl, etc.
