Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the internal temp. of a firing furnace and to satisfy various characteristics required as the stock of the substrate of a square chip fixed resistor by blending Al2O3 with CaSiO3, MgO and SiO2 in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:An alumina porcelain compsn. is obtd. by blending 93.0-95.0wt.% Al2O3 with 1.0-2.0wt.% CaSiO3, 0.5-2.0wt.% MgO and 2.0-5.0wt.% SiO2. Since this compsn. can be fired at such a low temp. as 1,450 deg.C, energy cost is reduced and temp. control is facilitated.
