Zusammenfassung:NEW MATERIAL:A functional peptide which is shown by formula I (C277 is 277 amino acid peptide residue corresponding to Pro -SER of cell adhesion domain of human fibronectin; H271 is 271 amino acid peptide residue correspond ing to Ala -Thr of heparin adhesion domain of human fibronectin; X is peptide residue shown by formula II; (n) is 0 or 2) wherein the cell adhesion domain of human fibronectin is bonded directly or through a linker peptide to the heparin adhesion domain of human fibronectin. USE:A treating agent for wounds. PREPARATION:For example, a DNA to code a polypeptide wherein a cell adhe sion domain of human fibronectrin is bonded to a heparin adhesion domain of human fibronectin is synthesized, bonded to a manifestation vector to prepare a recombinant plasmid. The plasmid is introduced to a host cell, which is transformed and then the transformant is cultured to give a functional peptide shown by formula I.
