PURPOSE:To sanitarily obtain a NORIMAKI (vinegared rice rolled in laver)-like polygonal food having an uniform shape in good productivity by receiving food materials in a trough-like groove formed with a carrying means, and subsequently processing the received food materials into the shape of the food product in a process for carrying the food materials. CONSTITUTION:While a conveyer belt 5 is carried from a driven pulley 6 to a driving pulley 4, a tough-like groove is formed on the conveyer belt, and a belt-like KINSHI (sliced eggroll) and a rolling core are put on the upper surface of the conveyer belt and on the central upper surface of the put KINSHI, respectively. When the groove is formed, the KINSHI and the rolling core are received in the groove. When the KINSHI and the rolling core further pass through the guides 9, 9, the shapes of both the sides of the KINSHI are arranged. Both the side ends of the KINSHI are further turned over from the flat part of the conveyer belt into shapes faced to folding guide plates 13, 14 to roll the KINSHI on the rolling core.
