Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To easily/surely join mutual metal pieces by improving workability, controlling an utilizing efficiency of energy and managing heat input at executing mutual joining of metal pieces like contact material with using the energy beam of laser beam, electron beam, etc. CONSTITUTION:One of metal pieces 1 is placed on a cylindrical jig 8, a beam absorption layer 6b is provided in the irradiating part of a laser beam A, metal pieces 1, 3 are mutually joined as the laser beam A irradiates thereon through the beam absorption layer 6b. The laser beam A is reflected with the cylindrical jig 8 used to be collected in an irradiating part, further, the energy efficiency is enhanced through having the beam absorption layer 6b.
