Zusammenfassung:	The subject matter of the invention is a supporting chain for an energy carrier, for supplying expendable items of all kinds to systems moving on tracks, a supporting open-link chain, consisting of a large number of chain links (1, 34, 35), having continuous inner spaces for energy carriers, outer fish plates (5) (connected to one another in a jointed manner) of the open-link chain having stops (13, 14) for limiting the mutual pivoting angle and each chain link (1, 34, 35) having two detachable webs, connecting the outer fish plates (5) to one another. In order to provide an improved supporting chain for an energy carrier (cons.), having detachable webs, in which especially the design of the webs and their connection to the outer fish plates are simplified, it is proposed that the webs are tubular pieces (23, 24, 36) which are plugged onto corresponding projections (21, 22) of the outer fish plates (5), forming push fits.
